Profile: Jeanne brings to the firm an extensive background in public, private, and governmental accounting. She consults with clients on an as needed basis and she serves as a constant and valued resource to Mark Bailey & Company’s team members. She worked as an audit manager for Touche Ross & Co. in the N. Marianas and as a senior accountant for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in San Francisco. Other past roles include internal audit services for county government and for an international financial services company, and positions ranging from assistant controller to vice president of finance in the savings and loan industry. Jeanne is a accounting emerita professor at the University of Nevada Reno where she formerly taught courses in auditing and accounting information systems in the College of Business Administration. More broadly, she provides training to U.S. affiliated island governments in the Pacific Basin and the Caribbean as part of the Pacific and Virgin Islands training Initiative of the Graduate School, USDA. Her workshops are geared toward helping governments improve their fiscal accountability and financial management.
